classified explored the classification within typography and evaluated existing systems to create a clear, straightforward overview. targeted at first year design students my intention was to create a simple reference point, to help further knowledge on type history and correct typeface uses. my structure of classification featured six different type categories, and was based upon both a historical timeline and their visual characteristics.
