states of emergency.

states of emergency was my response to the istd live brief “books still”. the outcome explored grid systems within newspapers and aimed to provide a fresh approach to the way they communicate historical news. using content sourced entirely from the london edition of “the times”, the result formed a printed archive of coverage of hurricane sandy from the eye’s of the uk, and focused solely upon the impact it had on new york city and it’s boroughs.
